In the same way as it has done after the General Election (GE) of 2006 and that of 2011, the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is organising its Post-GE Conference to provide in-depth analysis of the recently concluded GE of 11 September 2015. IPS researchers will share the findings of three surveys on different aspects of GE2015. IPS and non-IPS experts will provide their analysis of the performance of the political parties, voter behaviour and the influence and role of media in shaping the outcome of GE2015. The final panel discussion at the Conference will see representatives of the key political parties share their policy and political agenda for the new Parliamentary term. We hope the Conference will allow the audience to discuss the implications of the outcome of GE2015 for political development but more broadly, for what it portends for the country’s economic and social future too. Space is limited and there is a registration fee to help the Institute cover the cost of presenting the event.Registration is on a first-come, first served basis. The Conference is open to media coverage. The data from the previous IPS Post-Election Survey (2011) can be found here. Please click here to view the programme. Please click here to view the bio-data of the speakers of the event.Downloads
