IPS conducts surveys to study issues of critical national interest across a variety of fields, and to better understand the attitudes and aspirations of Singaporeans and residents. Survey fieldwork is conducted by the IPS Social Lab or by survey research companies. The findings are analysed by IPS researchers, and presented and discussed in IPS publications and conferences. Our flagship studies include the IPS Perception of Policies in Singapore (POPS) Survey Series and the Singapore Panel Study on Social Dynamics (SPSSD).
IPS also has a Public Data Sharing Platform, where selected datasets from completed surveys are available to users upon request (subject to the terms of the Data Use Agreement). For more information on how to apply to receive IPS data and to read the Data Use Agreement, please visit the IPS Public Data Sharing Platform page.
