Beverly is a Research Assistant from the Department of Society and Culture at the Institute of Policy Studies. She graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University.
Her research interests are in online harms, media regulation, digital and social media, as well as digital literacy and inclusion. Her research on cancel culture has been presented at a conference organised by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) and published in the peer-reviewed journal, New Media and Society.
Beverly’s work at IPS mainly involves digital literacy, online harms and civic engagement.
