Managing the Challenges of an Ageing Society: This research programme analyses the social and economic impact of Singapore’s ageing society, ultra-low fertility, longer life and health expectancy, and migration. It examines changes to family structures, employment, entrepreneurship, productivity, savings, and investment, and their policy implications.
Inequality and Social Mobility: This research programme examines developments in this area, and considers measures to limit the negative trends.
Managing Diversities: This research programme tracks our growing diversity and its implications for national identity, social cohesion and capital, community resilience and governance.
Governance of a City-State: This research programme seeks out useful ideas and comparative experience that can be realistically applied or creatively adapted to help policymakers in the key sectors of the country build towards sustainable economic and social vibrancy.
