IPS Working Paper No. 47 — Current Realities, Social Protection And Future Needs of Platform Food Delivery Workers in Singapore

This paper investigates the current realities of food delivery riders in Singapore. Through a survey of over 1000 food delivery platform riders as well as in-depth interviews with 48 riders, the study sought to understand their views on various areas of concern, namely earnings, job benefits, social protection and representation.
