The FRN forum is an initiative to bring together a network of academics, researchers and policy-makers through a series of closed-door sessions to engage in regular discussions on family research.
The theme for this forum is “Singlehood in Singapore: Issues and Challenges”. The forum aims to examine the various factors leading to the rising singlehood rates and the possible implications; as well as discuss ideas to increase the marriage rates in Singapore. Our invited speakers will share their research findings and case studies.
Beyond information sharing, a major goal of the forum is to stimulate ideas for research as well as policy and programme suggestions to assist the work of stakeholders in this area. We look forward to your active participation in sharing your views and expertise during the forum.
