The Institute of Policy Studies is holding a special lunch for donors to Singapore Perspectives 2024 (SP2024) to further the discussion on today’s youth and their transitions into work, family life and political maturity.
The landscape facing young people is rapidly evolving, with new challenges and opportunities emerging across education, employment, social dynamics and beyond. During SP2024, we explored how demographic shifts as well as workplace and technological trends are reshaping the experiences of young people in our community, in domains ranging from family life and well-being to politics and civic engagement. In this intimate follow-up session, we will delve deeper into key takeaways and insights from the conference and examine how we can work together to facilitate successful transitions for our youth, particularly in the intersection between work and life. Shifting workplace norms, including the rise of flexi-work, are reshaping career trajectories and work-life integration for our youth, and present both benefits and challenges for young professionals. This lunch session will provide a platform to address these evolving societal dynamics in charting a more vibrant future for Singapore.
