Senior Executive, Data Quality Management (Social Lab)

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is a policy research think-tank in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. IPS is looking to hire a Senior Executive, Data Quality Management for the Social Lab.
 
The candidate will be required to oversee the QC data administration and provide support to audit checks of survey fieldwork. He/She will have the opportunity to acquire critical QC operations skills as well as benefit from exposure to advanced data processing analysis.


Job Scope:

• Manage projects, including performing QC checks / audits on interviewers via telephone validations, audio audits, onsite checks, observations;
• Supervise Data and QC Team; 
• Review, rectify data discrepancies;
• Scripting and User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy;
• Perform data coding, cleaning and processing;
• Manage longitudinal panel data;
• Operational Data Analysis and Reporting;  
• Training interviewers in accordance with QC’s standards;
• Provide timely feedback to rectify any data discrepancies;
• Evaluate and generating data report etc

Applicants must possess the following:

• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification;
• Preferably have experience working with data related to government-related research projects and longitudinal panel datasets; experience in market research field will be an advantage;
• Must have experience in coding SSOC & SSIC;
• Must possess strong data management skills; have strong computer knowledge, programming knowledge and web development experience in SPSS, Python, R and HTML;
• Must be familiar with SPSS DimensionNet and Qualtrics for Data Collection; knowledge of writing SPSS syntax for data logic check and data processing; 
• Must be meticulous and good with details;
