Executive (Development)

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is a policy think-tank at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. The Institute analyses public policy; builds bridges between thought leaders; communicates its findings to a wide audience; and provides a platform for mature, open, and incisive discussion on Singapore’s challenges, options, and direction.

IPS is looking to appoint an Executive (Development). The Executive will work closely with the IPS Development and Donor Engagement teams to manage donor-related matters and support fundraising efforts.  


Job Scope:

• Work closely with Associate Director (Development) and team to strategically elevate donor engagement and boost financial support.
• Conduct in-depth donor research to support in building a robust fundraising pipeline.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for all fundraising efforts - from gift administration to stewardship and donor reports.
• Support the planning and execution of donor events (e.g. Corporate Associate events, donor engagement events, IPS conferences and seminars, etc.).
• Manage donor/ prospect records and database.


Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Work experience in a non-profit organisation or education institute is preferred.
• Strong research skills required to thoroughly identify, assess, and engage potential prospects and donors.
• Meticulous attention to detail, good customer service, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong administrative and logistical skills.
• Be a good team player and a reliable worker.
• Excellent command of English and capacity to write clearly.
• Experience with organisation and project management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
