IPS Discussion on Singapore’s Fiscal Policies and National Reserves

• What are the National Reserves?
• How do they help the government fund its policies and programmes?
• What else funds government spending?
• How could these change in the future?
• What do you think?

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) of the National University of Singapore will hold discussions on Singapore’s fiscal policies and the National Reserves.

We are inviting 100 Singapore citizens of all ages, ethnicity, and backgrounds to share their views.

Participants must be able to join us at the two workshops held on the Saturdays, 29 April and 6 May 2023, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, at the Devan Nair Institute for Employment and Employability (e2i).

No prior knowledge is needed to participate in these meetings as experts will provide key information about the issues at hand.

The sessions will be held in English, but there can be translation to Mandarin, Malay and Tamil as well as small group discussions in these languages, if needed.
