The Future of Governance in Singapore

This is a one-day workshop tailored towards educating young people (studying in tertiary institutions) on the importance of good national governance. It will cover the principles of good governance, what governance in action entails and how governance approaches should evolve dynamically to meet future needs. The workshop will include case studies on specific policy areas and the use of futures thinking in policy development.

As part of the Institute for Governance and Leadership's (IGL) efforts to create opportunities for young people to participate, we are pleased to offer university students an opportunity to attend at no cost. Apart from the requirement to attend the workshop, students will also have the opportunity to join one additional workshop or site visit, and participate in all sessions at the Festival of Ideas. Please note that seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
