As part of the Institute of Policy Studies’ project,
Reimagining Singapore 2030, where we discuss how we can achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation in 2030 and beyond, we are presenting this series of three online forums with Singaporean changemakers.
This second of three forums focuses on policies, programmes and action in the domains of climate change, sustainability, and urban design that enable us to craft the sort of city-scape that we would like to live, work and play in, here in Singapore.
In doing this, the forum is set within an exploration of most essential notion of “sustainability” which is that of stewarding our ecological, physical and social resources to meet the needs of the day without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same, in this small island-state and the region it is part of.
Speakers:
- Ms Nor Lastrina Hamid, Co-founder, Singapore Youth for Climate Action
- Mr Irsyad Ramthan, Co-Founder, Young Sustainable Impact Southeast Asia
- Mr Cai Yinzhou, Director, Citizen Adventures
- Mr Larry Yeung, Executive Director, Participate in Design
Moderator:
- Dr Natalie Pang, Senior Lecturer, Department of Communications and New Media, NUS
