George Yeo is one of Singapore’s most talented, knowledgeable and capable leaders. He attained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) before resigning to enter politics. In the Singapore Government, he held three portfolios. He was the Minister for Information and the Arts for nine years. He led the cultural transformation of Singapore. As Minister for Trade and Industry, he launched Singapore’s policy on free trade agreements which has expanded Singapore’s economic space. He was a brilliant Foreign Minister.
