Brendan Lee is a Research Analyst at the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Economics (specializing in applied and policy economics) and Psychology from the National University of Singapore. At ACI, Brendan's work includes assessing the economic competitiveness of ASEAN economies and analyzing free trade agreements within and beyond the region by employing tools such as natural language processing (NLP). His research interests include applied econometrics, policy evaluation, and international political economy. His previous research experience includes epidemiological modeling and the application of behavioral economics in environmental policies.
