Singapore Household Formation Survey

Changes in how Singaporeans form households is a key issue facing the nation. This study explores trends in attitudes towards household formation, emotional closeness with household and non-household members, caregiving responsibilities, and views of emerging household trends. Together, the findings contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of emerging household trends and demographic patterns among younger and mid-life Singaporean residents.

Invited participants are selected to ensure a random sample of Singaporean residents. Participants must be Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 21-44. All participants must be able to read, write and speak in English.
