IPS REPORT ON “SCENARIOS OF FUTURE POPULATION GROWTH AND CHANGE IN SINGAPORE”
Synopsis
The IPS Family and Demography cluster, led by IPS Senior Research fellow Dr Yap Mui Teng embarked on a project in 2007 to study scenarios of future population growth and change for Singapore. The project generated 48 population projections of which four were presented in a recently released report. On 7th September, IPS convened a roundtable to discuss the project’s findings and methodology in greater detail. The report as well as media coverage of the roundtable session are available here.
