Lunch with Mr Eddie Teo on “Singapore’s Public Service"

Singapore’s national problems are growing more complex as society becomes more diverse. Public servants have to respond to changing times and needs. The recruitment system – in particular, the scholarship programme – is supporting the need for greater diversity in the Public Service. What kind of ethos and values should public servants today have? What should the relationship between the public service and the political leadership be like? Mr Eddie Teo, Chairman of the Public Service Commission, will discuss these issues in a closed-door dialogue with IPS Corporate Associates. The title of Mr Teo’s talk is “Lee Kuan Yew’s Public Service: What Has Changed and What Will Continue to Change”.
