Tan Gek Jee is part of the Operations Team at IPS where she is the Senior Associate Director. She heads the Project Management, Quality Control and Fieldwork Departments. She is responsible for the bidding, setting up of processes, planning, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.
She has more than 30 years of experience leading Operations teams to execute and deliver contractual deliverables of research projects.
Prior to joining IPS, Gek Jee worked in the private market research industry for more than 25 years. She had successfully led large-scale local, non-replacement probabilistic sample studies and international research projects. She has extensive background in quantitative research.
In particular, she was the Project Manager for data collection (Singapore) for the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (PIAAC).
