Ng Hui Xin is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Policy Studies’ Social Lab. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology with a minor in History from the National University of Singapore. She was also enrolled in the University Scholars Programme (NUS College).
Prior to joining IPS Social Lab, Hui Xin had worked in various research capacities as a student (e.g., Student Researcher conducting qualitative interviews, Research Intern and Freelance Researcher conducting secondary research). At IPS Social Lab, Hui Xin has worked on both large-scale and smaller-scale quantitative projects, where she was involved in survey questionnaire design, programming, management and analysis processes. She has also conducted qualitative research such as ethnographic house visits and interviews, as well as facilitated Focus Group Discussions and workshops.
