Tan Xin Yi is a Research Assistant in the Society and Governance department at the Institute of Policy Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
Prior to joining IPS, she worked at the Ministry of Social and Family Development, where she reviewed youth-at-risk policies to enhance their effectiveness in preventing youth offending in Singapore.

Social inequality, at-risk youth populations, ageing and older adults, social service evaluation research
