Sharanya Shanmugam is a Research Assistant in the Society and Governance department at the Institute of Policy Studies. Her research interests include politics and governance, particularly how evidence-based policymaking can address socio-economic challenges. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
