Dr Michele Khoo is an experienced communications practitioner with a strong track record in the Singapore public service. She has served as Director of Comms/Press Sec to Minister at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the Ministry of National Development (MND) before joining the Ministry of Health (MOH).
During her last 15 years in the public service, she has led strategic communications efforts on a range of national priorities, including social cohesion, public housing, and most recently, public healthcare.
Michele holds a PhD in Communications Studies from NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) and has a keen interest in behavioral insights and the role of media in nudging public attitudes and actions.
