The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is an autonomous research institute within National University of Singapore. IPS is seeking to hire an Executive (Project Management) for its Social Lab. The incumbent will coordiate with clients, vendors and free-lance interviewers to fulfil project contractual obligations. This position will primarily provide support to the Social Lab's various projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including various ministries in Singapore to ensure successful project delivery;
- Monitoring and delivering required project reports and materials punctually;
- Ensuring quality control of fieldwork operations and data collection;
- Managing interviewers’ workload and performance through workload distribution, coordination, coaching and problem resolution;
- Preparing training materials and conducting training sessions;
- Recruiting interviewers and part-time staff to meet project staffing needs and deadlines
- Liaising with the IT team to programme, deploy and verify electronic questionnaires and conduct user acceptance testing;
- Working with the Quality Control team to ensure data accuracy and consistency;
- Developing, implementing and maintaining workflow control systems;
- Managing project progress and coordinating with the administrative team to plan required resources to meet deadlines and budgets;
Qualifications
- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant Business Administration discipline from a reputable university;
- Preferably possess two years of professional experience or experience in event organisation. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in event management are also encouraged to apply;
- Be motivated, capable of working effectively under pressure, and desmonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
- Have a strong command of both written and spoken English
- Be methodical, organised and a good team player
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access and events platforms/tools such as Pigeonhole, Qualtrics, LinkTree, and Gevme.
