Singapore Perspectives 2012 "Singapore Inclusive: Bridging Divides"

SP2012_Logo290-px

Singapore Perspectives is the flagship event of the Institute of Policy Studies. It is an annual conference that takes stock of recent developments in Singapore, offering insights into the key trends in the country over the short and medium terms.

The theme for Singapore Perspectives 2012 is Singapore Inclusive: Bridging Divides. The conference will challenge both speakers and participants to look more deeply at several challenges facing Singapore. Some of the most pressing concerns, raised by both the government and the public alike, include the widening income gap, the affordability of housing and healthcare, slowing social mobility, and the problems of an ageing society. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam will conclude the conference by participating in a dialogue with the speakers and participants.
