While our understanding of cyber conflict is often informed by the experience of European or North American states, these are not representative of the phenomenon. With the evolving intricacies of cyber conflict, we must broaden our focus beyond these cases. As such, the Indo-Pacific demands scholarly attention, given its diverse geopolitical landscape and the distinct social, political, and technological challenges it faces. Acknowledging this region's unique character can deepen our understanding of cyber conflict, which is essential for future scholarly and policy endeavors. Consequently, the workshop will offer a platform to discuss the nature of cyber conflict in the context of the Indo-Pacific.
