Singapore Perspectives 2008 "Singapore Futures"

IPS will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2008, so this year’s edition of the annual conference will be a very special event. The content of the conference will not just look at the year ahead, as it usually does, but at a generation ahead, setting out several possible scenarios for the future.

The cast of speakers too will be an exceptional lot, including Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, Ministers George Yeo, Lim Swee Say, Yaacob Ibrahim, Khaw Boon Wan and the scenario planning guru Peter Schwartz, of Global Business Network (USA). There will be parallel sessions focused on specific areas of public policy led by Singapore’s best young intellectuals.
