Reflections and Stray Thoughts: 30 Years of Engagement with PRC

Mr. Gyari will share reflecting on over 30 years of his engagement with the Peoples Republic of China, including leading nine rounds of formal talks as the Special Envoy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Mr. Gyari will try to give candid reflection and also share with the audience some of the mistakes, misreadings and miscommunications that both sides may have made. As a private citizen he will also try to give his personal views on how the Tibet issue may be resolved by giving his ‘reality check’ list for both sides.
