One-table Dinner with Ms Yong Ying-I

Singapore’s public service has a reputation of integrity, effectiveness and efficiency that has supported Singapore’s successful development in its first 50 years. But innovation, technology and skills, plus a more entrepreneurial capability to take risks and move flexibly, will be essential for Singapore’s future success.  The public service is not only the largest employer in Singapore but its work shapes Singapore’s broader culture and attitudes. How can the public service more effectively shape these behaviours in our workforce and companies?  Can the public service itself be more innovative and enterprising?

Ms Yong Ying-I, Permanent Secretary (Public Service Division and National Research Foundation), Prime Minister’s Office will discuss these issues, drawing on her varied experience across Singapore’s public sector.
