Budget 2023 will be delivered on 14 February by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Mr Lawrence Wong. This year’s Budget will be tabled amidst the rising cost of living and inflation, as well as uncertain macro-economic and geo-political conditions.
Budget 2023 is expected to address these challenges, and the Government’s considerations in refreshing our social compact, as part of the Forward Singapore exercise. We are also likely to see continued support for households and businesses, to facilitate the transitions to a greener, digital but also rapidly ageing society.
Join Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development Ms Indranee Rajah for a post-Budget discussion. The session will be moderated by Mr Christopher Gee, Senior Research Fellow and Head of Governance & Economy at IPS.
