Closed Door Discussion on “The Role of Four ‘E’s in Enhancing Social Mobility”

The 2011 Singapore Budget has designated $3.4 billion in social investments to improve the life opportunities for the low-income families. Looking at the 4 'Es' of social mobility - Education, Employment, Enterprise and Empowerment - what more can be done in these four areas to reinforce government efforts to improve the livelihood of this group of people?

This session will feature a panel of speakers comprising academics and individuals in the social enterprise sector who will share their perspectives on topic to lead into an exploration of new, creative and implementable programmes to support this national effort.
