Dr Md Sayed Iftekhar is an applied and environmental economist with expertise on cost benefit analysis, non-market valuation, impact assessment, mechanism designs, and sustainable management of natural resources, such as water, land, energy and environment. He is currently the Director of the AFE Environmental and Resource Management Research Cluster, GBS and the national Secretary of the Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES). He is an associate editor of the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics (Wiley, Q1) and IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (Oxford University Press, Q2). Dr Sayed Iftekhar has extensive experience of research, teaching, consultancy and providing policy advice.
