Professor Danny Quah has been appointed Director-Designate of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) with effect from 1 August 2026. He will assume the full responsibilities of Director on 1 October 2026.
Prof Paul Cheung will continue as Adjunct Research Professor. From 1 October 2026, he will also take on the role of Research Advisor to ACI, including spearheading selected research projects funded by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, among others.
