Over the past decade, Vietnam has emerged as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital economies. Through the National Digital Transformation Programme and recent digital governance reforms, including becoming the first ASEAN country to adopt a Law on Artificial Intelligence, the government has positioned digital transformation as a strategic pillar for economic growth and international competitiveness.
This webinar examines how Vietnam’s digital transformation agenda is strengthening the country’s competitiveness in digitally deliverable services (DDS) export. It highlights key recent policy developments, presents evidence of improvements in DDS export performance following the implementation of the digital transformation agenda, and discusses the opportunities and challenges for sustaining Vietnam’s transition toward a more innovation-driven and digitally integrated economy.
