US Family Support Programmes: Current Status and Future Directions

Dr Ron Haskins will speak on current US programmes supporting the family such as the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), child care for low income families, child support enforcement, promoting marriage (or preventing divorce), and the fatherhood programme, and the future directions these would take.

Following Dr Haskin’s presentation, there will be open discussion during which we hope participants will share their views and experiences in Singapore.
