The LKYSPP Alumni Malaysia Chapter has succesfully organised a Courtesy Visit and Knowledge Sharing Session with YAB Tun. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia on 9 July 2019. The session was specially designed to give a significant impact to the alumni while still embedding the good networking opportunity among the chapter members as well.
The Chapter was deeply honoured to be given the opportunity to spend 1.5 hour with the Prime Minister of Malaysia despite his busy schedule. With the theme “Malaysia’s Development Journey: Reflections and Way Forward”, the session was conducted in an interactive way whereby being a public policy maker himself, the Prime Minister shared about his experience, challenges, and achievements as the Premier; and subsequently followed by a Question and Answer session.

The session was attended by 32 participants with 28 alumni and 4 incoming students who will be joining the school this month. After the visit, all participants continued with a networking dinner session at another venue and organised the first Bon Voyage Session for the new students.
