On 15 December 2024, the LKYSPP Alumni Singapore Chapter Mandarin-speaking Alumni organised a Winter Solstice Tea Party.
The event garnered enthusiastic support from over 50 participants, including alumni from the MPAM, PhD, MPA, MPP, and MIA programmes, as well as current MPAM students. The School’s faculty members, such as Professor Chen Kang, Professor Alfred Wu and Professor Zheng Huanhuan, were also in attendance.
The highlights of the gathering were two insightful talks: Dr. Casey Zhou Ligao offered his perspectives on the current economic situation, drawing from his extensive investment experience and understanding of historical contexts. Meanwhile, Mr. Goh Kim Hua (MPAM 2021) introduced ways to attract good fortune in the upcoming Year of the Snake and shared traditional customs associated with the Chinese New Year celebrations.
