The LKY School Alumni in Malaysia were treated to a dinner hosted by the Alumni Relations Team (ART) in Kuala Lumpur on 13 October 2016. In attendance were 10 alumni and also 3 LKY School staff from the alumni relations and student recruitment teams.
Everyone had a great time at the dinner catching up with each other and hearing about the new developments at the LKY School. Out of the 10 alumni present, only 4 had been to previous dinners and it was actually the first alumni dinner for the other 6! One of the alumni even came down all the way from Perak just to attend this dinner.
We also had a special guest who joined us for the dinner, and he is none other than the baby of one of our alumni couple! It was really interesting to hear their love story of how they met and fell in love.
The idea of setting up a Chapter was also brought up at the dinner and it is our wish that someday, the Malaysian alumni will be able to have their own LKY School Alumni Chapter.
