The LKY School Alumni Chapter Committee in Beijing hosted a dinner on the occasion of Dean Kishore’s visit to China.
The dinner was held in Shangri-La hotel on 4 November 2016, and it was attended by Beijing Alumni from the LKY School and also from the wider NUS Beijing Alumni Community.
Dean Kishore gave an opening address with simultaneous translation by Ms Emily Yan (Beijing Alumni). After which, Mr Dane Lim (Director of External Affairs & Marketing at the LKY School), and Mr Wang Kejian (President of the LKY School Beijing Alumni Chapter) gave their respective speeches too.
Gifts were exchanged between the Beijing Chapter and the School as a sign of good relations and also a positive indication of future partnerships between the two parties. The School looks forward to working more closely with the Chapter so that together, we can bring LKY School to greater heights!
Everyone had a wonderful time at the dinner forging new connections and catching up with old friends. The dinner ended (on a good note) with emcee cum Chapter Committee member, Mr Shao Changfeng closing the event.
