This closed-door workshop will invite academics and representatives from local social service organisations to share their views on the topics covered during the Better Internet Conference 2019, such as cyber safety and security, discernment of online falsehoods, and cyber-bullying. The workshop will involve two interactive sessions with the speakers at the Better Internet Conference 2019 and a networking lunch, providing a platform for content experts and academics to learn more about sentiments and needs on-the-ground, and for the representatives from the social service sector to be exposed to new areas of research and studies in their field. The workshop will provide a platform for these two groups to exchange views, and learn from one another.
