What are Singaporeans, especially the younger generation, to make of the future? Globalisation, the onset of disruptive technologies, Industry 4.0 and the rapidly evolving job market are all major life-changing trends that are increasingly apparent. Whilst fewer Singaporeans today have the same concerns of day-to-day survival than earlier generations, our expectations and potential have also expanded as the nation and society develop. At this event, Mr Chng Kai Fong, Managing Director of the Economic Development Board will share his thoughts on ways in which the economy and society could evolve to handle the necessary transitions for us to thrive in the future.
