It is now universally accepted that having quality people, more informed management and progressive workplace practices can dramatically raise productivity and transform performance. However, less understood perhaps is how these aspects of human capital effectiveness in organisations can be achieved. Professor Ron Collard , Global Financial Services Human Resource Services Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Singapore will be sharing on the global and Asian trends and best practices driving managing human capital dynamism at the IPS roundtable on Drive Productivity – Work Smarter, alongside with two other panelists namely Mr Ang Hin Kee , Chief Executive Officer at the Employment and Employability Institute and Ms Iris Seet , Divisional Director for Curriculum & Educational Development at Institute of Technical Education.
Professor Collard will bring with him perspectives on how metrics can and should best be used as enablers to drive productivity for business transformation and performance. He will use selected case studies and learnings based from PwC’s Saratoga Human Resources Services to see how various approaches can be applied to companies in Singapore. Through discussions with the panelists, questions on how productivity measures, training cost and human resource effectiveness can be deployed by management, will be examined.
