The LKY School Beijing Alumni Chapter organized a cultural and social night to welcome newly graduated alumni. The get-together was held in Beijing on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
During the event, Ye-Her Wu, Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Executive Education, updated the alumni on the LKY School’s recent developments on behalf of the school, and encouraged everyone to further fulfil their career goals as public policy and public affairs professionals.
Kejian Wang, President of the Chapter, echoed Ye-Her and asked of the alumni to further develop their personal skillset and capability by leveraging on the alumni network. He also thanked the school for its generous support to the Beijing Chapter, and hopes that the School will be able to accomplish more in the future as a leading world-class public policy school.
Ensheng Ma, an MPM2016, shared his policy experience in trade remedies investigation work and wrapped up his sharing with some thoughts on public administration and policy making that he had received after a rewarding year of studies at the LKY School.
Qianyuan Li, an alumnus of MPAM 2016 representing new alumni, also shared his views on alumni network development and his proposals for the chapter to strengthen alumni connections.
The event attracted about 50 alumni in total. The guests and alumni also enjoyed professional Peking opera performances by local artists before the event.
