Master in Public Policy (MPP)

The Master in Public Policy (MPP) is a 2-year degree for young professionals. In addition to learning the fundamental skills of public policy analysis from the disciplines of politics, economics, and public management, students have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of a specific area by electing to focus their studies on one of three areas of specialisation:

  • Economics and Development
  • Politics and International Relations
  • Management and Leadership

To provide an element of direct practical experience, MPP students undertake a public policy study (the Policy Analysis Exercise) for a real-world client in the public, private or non-profit sector. Finally, the MPP programme also offers the invaluable opportunity for qualifying students to obtain a dual degree from the LKY School as well as from one of our partner institutes, which include Columbia, London School of Economics and Sciences Po, Paris. Students on the double-degree programme spend one year in Singapore and the second year in New York City, London or Paris.
