Ms Tan Gek Jee is Senior Associate Director (Operations) at the IPS Social Lab, which is a centre for social indicators research.

She is responsible for the quality of data collection in survey-based research administered by IPS.

Prior to joining IPS, Gek Jee worked in the private market research industry for more than 25 years. Her extensive background in quantitative research has enabled her to successfully lead large-scale local and international research projects.

A practitioner and enforcer of data collection quality, she is known as a transparent and effective quality controller of all research operation aspects.
