Wen Xuan is a Research Assistant from the Department of Society and Culture at the Institute of Policy Studies. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours), majoring in Social Work and Sociology.

Prior to joining IPS, Wen Xuan was employed as a social worker at a Family Service Centre. Beyond his case management and counselling roles, he was also involved in stakeholder engagement within the community.
