Ng Wee Yang is a Research Associate at the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Arts (Merit) in Economics and the Australian National University with a Master of Applied Economics. He is currently conducting research on the cost of living indices for expatriates and ordinary residents. His recent studies include research on ASEAN competitiveness and ACI Digitalisation Index. His research interests include public economics, labour economics and digital economy.
