Senior Lecturer

Jun Jie (JJ) is a Senior Lecturer at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in the National University of Singapore, where he was also previously Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies. He has previously held faculty and research positions at the Education University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. From 2016 to 2017, he held the prestigious Rajawali Fellowship at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

JJ holds a PhD in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and an MSc in International Political Economy from Nanyang Technological University. His research is centred on the study of global cities in Asia, with a strong focus on urban governance, policy design and economic development. He is the author of several books on the emergence and development of global financial hubs in Asia.
