Ed Araral, Associate Professor and Director IWP, and Vinod Thomas, Visiting Professor, published an opinion piece on the benefits of a carbon tax in The Hindu, India's second largest English-language newspaper. In the piece they argue that a market-oriented approach to tax and trade carbon domestically and to induce similar action by others through international trade and diplomacy offers a way forward to reduce carbon emissions.
