The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is launching Singapore Chronicles – a series of 50 publications to record, explain and offer insights into what makes Singapore, Singapore – to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Singapore’s independence next year. Featuring a wide range of topics, the books will be authored by subject experts from the public sector, academia and journalism.
Five authors – former Permanent Secretaries Mr Bilahari Kausikan and Mr Peter Ho; writer Ms Sylvia Tan; sociologist Professor Chua Beng Huat; and biologist Mr N. Sivasothi – will be at the breakfast session to discuss the books that they are writing.
