Singapore Perspectives 2013, the annual IPS flagship conference was dedicated to the theme of governance. Topics such as Singapore’s current political culture, new interpretations of governance, better synergy between state and civil society as well as nurturing a more resilient state and non-state institutions were discussed. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong concluded the conference with a dialogue session on the government’s response to Singapore’s new political culture and how the current governance system could be modified.
